Witness Gunned Down Outside Joburg Court – A Case of Courtroom Drama Gone Wrong

Things took a tragic turn outside the Lenasia Magistrate’s Court in Joburg this Tuesday morning, when a key witness in a murder trial was shot dead. The witness, along with another, was set to testify in the ongoing Eldorado Park murder case, but instead found themselves in a real-life horror scene.

According to SAPS spokesperson, Lieutenant Colonel Mavela Masondo, two armed men approached the witnesses outside the court and started shooting without a single word. Talk about cold-blooded.

While the court was temporarily closed for investigation, police launched a manhunt for the suspects, who seem to have made their move as casually as someone ordering coffee. No motive was shared yet, but one thing’s for sure: this case just got a lot messier.

Unfortunately, this isn’t the first time such incidents have rocked South African courts. Last year, three people were shot execution-style after leaving a court in Mtwalume, KZN. It seems that in certain parts of the country, courtroom exits can be just as dangerous as the crime itself.

Stay tuned as this chilling story unfolds, and let’s hope justice prevails for all involved.
